Issues and Goals

Nashville-Davidson County’s Juvenile Court, under the leadership of Judge Sheila Calloway, has the great responsibility of seeing through justice as it relates to our youth. It’s critical that this process happen smoothly and expediently to allow youth coming through this court to move forward, and that is the heart of the role of Juvenile Court Clerk.

As Clerk, Sherry Jones will help and advocate for the children and families that come through the Juvenile Court System; ensure that we build on the progress that David Smith, the outgoing Clerk, has made in modernizing the office; and develop additional processes to allow swift handling of the Court’s work.
